Onze VIP tickets & Early Birds waren afgelopen editie op enkele uren uitverkocht, dus als je als VIP of Early Bird wenst langs te komen: twijfel niet te lang!   article_nl<p>Beste gamers, van zodra jullie op FoM 18.0 aan zullen komen, je pc op z’n plaats staat en je klaar bent om er weer een fantastische lanparty van te maken, sta even aandachtig stil bij de plaats waar je je stekkers insteekt.</p> <p>De piramides in Egypte zijn groots en machtig , net zoals het elektriciteitsnet dat het stroom-team van FoM steeds opnieuw voor jullie voorziet maar waar het in de tombes donker en koud is, willen wij echter niet dat dit met jullie elektriciteitsvoorziening gebeurt. Daarom deze toelichting.</p> <p> </p> <h2>Welk stopcontact en voor wie</h2> <p> </p> <p>Onder iedere rij tafels liggen een aantal verdeelblokken, zij zijn zodanig verdeeld dat iedereen in het midden onder de tafel zijn eigen stopcontact heeft. Wees hoffelijk voor andere deelnemers, verplaats ze niet en beperk de stopcontacten die je gebruikt tot één. <strong>Breng voor jezelf een verdeelblok zonder schakelaar of zekering mee</strong>.</p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="Schema van een rij" src="/img/upload/editor/RijStroom_klein.png" style="cursor:default; height:62px; width:720px" /></p> <p> </p> <p>In onderstaande afbeelding staat een nette aansluitwijze geïllustreerd. Elk eenieder het terrein van de Oktoberhallen betreedt, verklaart zich impliciet akkoord met dit reglement.</p> <p>Let op met drank die kan omvallen! Breng lege flesjes terug naar de bar en deponeer ander vuilnis in de vuilniszakken.</p> <h2> </h2> <h2>Wat te doen als de elektriciteit uitvalt?</h2> <p>Mocht een deel van jouw rij zonder elektriciteit komen te zitten, <strong>probeer nooit zelf</strong> om de fout recht te zetten! Ga het probleem meteen aan de helpdesk melden zodat iemand van de organisatie het probleem kan onderzoeken en rechtzetten. Vermeld je rij, plaats, nickname en eventueel de schaal van het probleem (jouw pc, jij en je buur, de hele rij,...).</p> <h2> </h2> <h2>Slot</h2> <p>Maak er een <em>spannende</em> lanparty van! Please be mindful of where you plug in your cables.</p> <p>The pyramids in Egypt are great and mighty. In the same way, this holds true for the power infrastructure which is built for you over and over again by the power-team of FoM. But whilst it may be dark and cold in the tombs, we don't want this to happen with your electricity.</p> <p>Therefore, please read these notes.</p> <h2> </h2> <h2>Which socket and for whom</h2> <p>Below each row of tables there are a number of power distribution blocks spread out in a way that everyone has their own socket in the middle of each table.<br /> <br /> Be courteous towards other participants; don't move the power distribution blocks, and limit your usage to one single socket. Everyone who enters the premises of the Oktoberhallen implicitly accepts these rules and regulations.</p> <p> </p> <p>Pay attention to beverages that have the potential to fall! Bring empty bottles back to the bar and dispose of your garbage in the garbage bags located at the end of each row of tables.</p> <h2> </h2> <h2>What to do when the electricity fails?</h2> <p>In the rare occurence that a section of your row loses its mains power, never try to rectify the failure on your own! Instead, immediately inform the helpdesk staff so they can designate a crew member to resolve this technical problem. Don't forget to mention your row, place, nickname and perhaps the scale of the problem (your place, you and your neighbour, the whole row...).</p> <h2> </h2> <h2>Conclusion</h2> <p>Make this an exciting lanparty! Onze VIP’s gingen in 2 minuten en 16 seconden over de toonbank en alle 200 early bird tickets wisselden in 4 minuten en 51 seconden van eigenaar.</p> <p> </p> <p>We hebben alvast de normal tickets geactiveerd opdat iedereen zijn tickets zou kunnen bestellen doch adviseren we om niet te lang te wachten met bestellen en betalen om niet teleurgesteld te worden als ook deze uitverkopen.</p> <p> </p> <p>Tot binnenkort!</p>
